Public phone 2004

In 2003, a time there was still high demand for public payphones, there was much hostility directed towards Telefonica*, the parent company
of the many payphones installed along roads (regarding the phones' failure to return change to the users), causing rises in public unrest that
resulted in the destruction and shutting down of the payphones and the entire incident becoming a public scandal. We have rebuilt the payphone
to its actual size for sandbag use, and we have incorporated the violent energy of the protests into the exhibition space. (Spain, Barcelona)

まだ公衆電話に多くの需要がある時代、通りにおかれる多くの公衆電話が親会社のTelefonica*への抗議（多くは返らぬつり銭をめぐり）民衆の乱暴が重なり、
潰され使用不能となり街のスキャンダルと化していた。そこで公衆電話をサンドバック用に原寸大で作り直し、その抗議の暴力のエネルギーを展示スペースに
持ち込んだ。(スペイン、バルセロナ）
